During the tournament, Tundra finished in eighth place out of twelve teams, leading to the release of 80 percent of the roster. Players such as MoonMeander, Timado, Bryle, kasane, and Immersion have all left the organization, while Whitemon remains on the roster.
The decision to release the majority of the roster has left Dota 2 fans puzzled, as Tundra’s intentions for its Dota 2 division remain unclear. Speculation has arisen, with some suggesting that Tundra may have signed the ex-TSM roster to fulfill sponsor obligations before the new year.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding Tundra’s Dota 2 division, it appears that the organization is still committed to the scene. With notable free agents such as Topson, Mind_Control, and Pure available, Tundra has the opportunity to build a strong team. Currently, the organization only needs to find a position four support to complete their roster.
Saksa, who is currently on Tundra’s inactive roster, could potentially fill this position. Saksa was moved to the inactive roster due to health reasons but could make a return to competitive Dota 2 in the future. If this were to happen, Tundra would have a solid foundation to build upon.
As Tundra Esports continues to make changes within its Dota 2 division, fans eagerly await news of the organization’s next move. Will they be able to assemble a winning roster and compete at the highest level? Only time will tell.
