After a six-month break, TimTheTatman returned to Warzone and quickly found himself in the middle of some intense action. Alongside his teammates Dr Disrespect and ZLaner, Tim uncovered a game-breaking glitch that allowed players to go underneath the map. But it was in his latest video that he encountered the true annoyance of proximity chat.
Infinity Ward, the developers of Warzone, introduced proximity chat to enhance communication between teammates. However, players have taken advantage of this feature to trash talk and troll their enemies. For content creators like TimTheTatman, it’s a double-edged sword. While proximity chat has allowed for some fun and creative moments, it can also lead to frustrating encounters with viewers who hunt them down and harass them.
In TimTheTatman’s case, a viewer took trolling to the next level by playing a Stephen A. Smith voice clip trashing Tim’s beloved Cowboys. The stream sniper’s preparedness and witty responses added insult to injury, leaving Tim to question whether he should disable proximity chat in future streams.
Despite the trolling, TimTheTatman took the experience in stride, learning from his losses and moving forward. As for the stream sniper, he signed off with an Arnold Schwarzenegger-esque final line, promising to meet Tim in the next battle.
Whether TimTheTatman decides to disable proximity chat or not, one thing is for sure – Warzone will continue to be a battlefield of epic moments and unexpected encounters.
