The Maelstrom Dual Trigger attachment, which was previously disabled due to its overpowered capabilities, made a return only to cause more havoc. This attachment allowed players to one-shot kill enemies from up to 10 meters away, making it incredibly unfair for other players.

This is not the first time shotguns have caused controversy in Warzone. The Haymaker shotgun, equipped with Fire Breath ammunition, and the Lockwood 300 shotgun with an overpowered attachment, have both faced criticism for their unbalanced gameplay. In response to player feedback, the developers disabled these shotguns as well.
However, the recent return of the Maelstrom Dual Trigger attachment has once again raised concerns among the Warzone community. Players quickly noticed that the attachment was still capable of one-shotting enemies, prompting the developers to take action.
Raven Software, the studio behind Warzone, has disabled the Maelstrom Dual Trigger attachment for the second time. This decision comes after the recent mid-season update, which saw significant nerfs to the .410 and 12 gauge Dragon’s Breath ammunition, reducing their damage values.
While the developers work on adjusting the Maelstrom Dual Trigger attachment, players can turn to the Lockwood 680 shotgun as a viable alternative. This underrated shotgun deals 200 damage up close and can take down an enemy in just two shots from up to 8.5 meters away.
