Running for three weeks, from January 9th to 30th, this crossover event introduces a range of exciting features. One of the highlights is a new Limited Time Mode (LTM) that combines elements from both games. Players can experience the thrill of wielding the iconic Buster Sword Heirloom, which can be found as loot or in Care Packages.
But that’s not all. The event also introduces the new Iconic rarity tier, featuring six crossover legend skins. Crypto’s HACKER: 1st Class skin, inspired by the legendary Cloud Strife, is just one example of the incredible designs available.
For those looking for the ultimate prize, the Buster Sword R5 Heirloom is a must-have. This Mythic melee weapon can be unlocked through event packs, with a higher chance of obtaining it through the exclusive “Four-Pack” shop bundles.
But act fast, because the Buster Sword R5 Heirloom is only available for a limited time. Once the event ends, it will disappear from the Mythic Shop, making it a true collector’s item for fans.
Collecting all 36 event items will also unlock the One-Winged Angel Death Box, a new cosmetic that can be equipped by all Legends. This unique reward appears when a player finishes an enemy in the standard Battle Royale mode.
Throughout the event, players can earn Gil, the new event currency, by participating in the LTM and completing daily challenges. The Rewards Shop and Tracker from the previous Post Malone event make a return, offering a rotating inventory of event packs, charms, and standard battle pass stars.
As an added bonus, Twitch has partnered with Respawn to provide four exclusive Stickers during the event. By linking an EA account with a Twitch account and watching associated Apex streamers with Twitch Drops enabled, players can earn these limited-edition collectibles.
